the Minority of "C" type

Yeup, I am one of those C type people that writing their names on the board extremely small and slight. My result is actually between C and S as both of them have almost the same height. I choose to go C anyway. I think it is right for me in general, though I would prefer to be a I type. It is my first time to take this kind of test. I think people bascially know what kind of person they are and what kind of personalities they carry on. Well when the result come up with more details and determations of futher careers, it still somehow shocked me. I think it is a good test for both employers and employees. It is necessary for employers to know that what type of their employees are. Then the company can predicate their potential positions in the company and contributions to the company. For employees, like us, it is good to know earilier that what catgory we belong to and what we good at or still have to develop with. I do believe that personality is harder to change when people are getting older, but still there are always some spaces to be developed, and to be someone that you want to be. For me, I think in order to be closer with I type, I have to be more adaptive and communcative. It is true that I am one of those people that easy to give up or conform. The test is a way to understand myself much deeper, or to face my weaknesses that I tried to ignore before.

For the "Stranded", I think D is a good type to be a team leader. There will be no confusion or misunderstanding in the team and members can follow the instrucitons. It is a extreme situation. I think the most important thing is to be effective to have a best alternative and imply the decision. Therefore I think it is necessary to have a leader can overcome other conflicts and get a deciosion that all others agree upon.

  1. Chrissie, I think you are right, it is definitely harder for a person to change as they get older. That's why it it easier for kids to learn a new or second language when they are younger. I am also a C and wrote my name small also, but as the professor told me it's not a judgment, he said he is a C type also and it has served him very well. I would agree he has had a great career at NBC and now teaching. So it just really shows what your style is in terms of how you get things done. Not a test saying you can't be successful in you current style. My only dissatisfaction about myself is that I take to long to make a decision, but I am working on that. Good luck and you will be just fine.
